Third Outing are pleased to première the London based outfit's new EP No Hood, No Dogs, No Food, No Drink.
Ziggy, leader of Zygmunt Day & Echo Pressure and member of one of Super Fan 99's brightest prospects ZOOZ, has dropped a new EP. Once again the music addresses the difficulty and hopefulness of lifestyle in the UK. You hear it in Ziggy's voice. The tension on There Was A Person, for instance, which climaxs on the final track The Future That I Used To Have; a slam poem/spoken word masterpiece.
"The idea for these songs is that they would be long, but constantly changing in small ways, so that the same part is never played with the same arrangement twice. Our aim was for the songs to evolve, so that by the end, they have arrived somewhere different from where they began – but are recognizably still the same. This reflects what they’re about – being caught in a constant way of life, but longing for change, thinking about it from different angles, and trying to make your peace, whether with the past, the present or the future. “
