France isn't the place for indie music. It's a country which has produced such as greats as Georges Brassens, Joe Dassin, oh and Phoenix. Okay so maybe not that last one, but France, in general of course, favours the arena rock band such as Muse or U2. Don't get us wrong, it's not a bad thing, and there are great festivals like La Route Du Rock, and This Is Not A Love Song Festival. But our point is this; Third Outing have found the band to bring France back to the forefront of the indie music scene. Alba Lua take it away…
Alors! It's sure to say that our French Latin friends from Alba Lua have a 'je ne sais quoi'. They are vocally rhythmic, bold with the bass and dreamy with the guitar. It's a refreshing, humble and honest music....tu vois? Alba Lua; the moon of the dawn. Their biggest success to date is their first release from Inner Seasons, When I'm Roaring Free. It's a jovial hit with a stream of tangy guitars; a revamped spaghetti western soundtrack with a dollop of summer cool! Alba Lua have the potential to be one of France's great indie bands, creating a French/Latin fusion appealing to the globish. Third Outing to Alba Lua, Euge et Fortunam!
