San Diego based Crocodiles stopped at Sneaky Pete's on Monday night to play a ferocious set of rock and roll!
For those familiar with Edinburgh, Cowgate, a Monday night is not entirely bouncing. But one place was packed to the rafters, and by the time Crocodiles took to the stage at 9 o'clock, you could tell it was going to be a gig to remember. It seems like Crocodiles play the same way to 100 fans as they would play to 1000 or even 10,000! They are as rock and roll as it gets and the gig is exactly what the crowd wants. It was energetic, it was passionate and above all it was loud. Both Marquis De Sade and the latest single Crybaby Demon were on the set list and the noise evident in Sneaky's showed all signs of success.
Crocodiles also paid tribute to Edinburgh based punk band The Exploited by covering one of their old classics, too. And just when you thought you'd seen it all before, for the encore, Crocodiles surprise by covering French artist Plastic Bertrand's Ça Plane Pour Moi to the amazement of the adoring crowd. The song was taken to another level and the room went absolutely mad. It was true rock and roll! But then what else do you want on a Monday night?
