It's Spring, so we thought we'd bring you some breezy, sunny, reverb-drenched tunes to cool you off nicely. Honeymoons, who play "sadly uplifting dream Pop", are releasing their first single Los Angeles, and it can only be found right here on Third Outing! Here's a quick fire Q&A with band member George. Check out Los Angeles below
What does the new single mean to you? The B-side, Los Angeles, means a lot to us. Firstly, because it's the first release under a new guise, and secondly because it reflects on past relationships and the nostalgia post-breakup.
Which three songs have somehow influenced this song? I'd say that we're all influenced by pretty different things, but in my case, I'd say my current biggest inspirations, even if it's not heard on the track, are Frank Ocean's Thinking About You, Whitney's Light Upon the Lake and Homeshakes' Call Me Up.
Cool! Finally, A story which epitomizes the band's spirit? Mike and I got each others names tattooed on each other. I think that sums up how tight we are and how much we value each other as friends and musicians!
